I got a big 5Gb VOR file from a Hitachi DVD+HDD camera.
Downloaded it onto my PC and tried to treat it as a VOB (ie: changed it to MPG and tried to deal with it), but to no avail.
It plays OK but I have trouble editing it.
Any convertors or plug-ins?
I have Sony Vegas 6.
Tks,

Try changing them to avi and using Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Google is your Friend

Isn't it vro files? Tmpgenc dvd author can import it.

And doesn't the camera come with any video software?
-
I changed it to AVI file. (It actually plays OK in Windows Media player 11)

Adobe Premier 6 will not import it as AVI, says its damaged.

I got the camera owner to burn some mini-DVD+RWs in his camera and pass them onto me.
 But its a slow process.
Surely theres a way of converting these things?

I can't seem to find a tool to do it. Anyone know of a nice simple freeware tool, or plugin?

 Thanks for help so far...

The Image Mixer 3 software which came with the camera can handle all of this if the renaming of the files doesn't work for you. Google is your Friend
