  1. Got a new Aiptek camera for doing video work for my new Vlog (Ewan's Outdoors - ewansoutdoors.blip.tv). It has decent quality, even under low light, but uses the ASF format for it's video files. For my first entry, that was no big deal. But going forward, I need to be able to strip off the audio from the file in places, and I don't see how to do that in Windows Movie Maker (I can ADD a sound track, but it doesn't seem to let you pull one off or silence it if it's part of the video stream).

I'm familiar with VirtualDub, but VD doesn't let you work with ASF files. Is there another editor (preferably free) y'all can recommend that would let me work with ASF files, supports doing titles and credits, and lets me work with multiple (at least two) audio tracks?

    TIA,
    EwanG

You can do that in Movie Maker. Just right click on the audio clip in timeline view.
