X(S)VCD

hey there just new to most of this and the site is way cool.
How do you make and burn a X(S)VCD?
there is not a great deal of info on this matter.
If anyone knows of a dteailed account can they let me know

Prob stating the obvious but have you checked out the how to guides on the left, if your converting divx to xsvcd dont bother your wasting your time, stick to vcd.

Just check out the "CONVERT" and "AUTHOR" How To sections of this site. They have all the tutorials (w/illustrations) you will need.

All the software and Templates are in the "Tools" section if you need them.

As for divx to xsvcd, I rarely do it. But if you got a great divx (like a dvd rip) then divx 2 xvcd is usually what I do.

(Le Pacte des Loups/Brotherhood of the Wolf is a good candidate for this conversion)

Just one remark: I've already mentioned in one of the previous posts, that this site's instruction "How to burn XVCD" doesn't work for me. I found my way to to do it. You can burn your XVCD (with Nero, of course) as a standart SVCD. Just press "Turn off standart compliance and continue" button. I managed to play on my Samsung M301 xvcd clip with bitrate ~2500kbit/sec
