  1. I have successfully used HDTV2DVD in the past. I wanted the ability to create DVDs with multiple titles so I registered a copy of SVCD2DVD. I have a few basic questions:

    1. How can I create a text item on the menu that is not selectable. For example I am creating a DVD with 3 episodes of Planet Earth and I want the DVD menu to look like this:

    Code:
    Planet Earth

    Episode One
    Episode Two
    Episode Three
    2. How do you remove the "Play All" button.

    3. How can I get access to the 2.5 Beta.

Thats all for now. This seems like a great program. I'm looking forward to making lots of DVDs. Thanks.

  2. 1. You need to make a background image containing any static text you want, then add it to the project.

    2. The "Play All" button should only be added manually. If you have added it and want to remove it, you will need to start your project over.

    3. Drop ChrissyBoy a PM.

    1. Indeed: Just throw the background you wish to use into Paint/PaintShopPro/Photoshop etc add your "static" text and save. Then use the "background" button on the menu screen in SVCD2DVD to use it.

    2. If you add it by mistake - click the "Play All" button again and it will go.

  5. Thanks to both of you for the help. I have an additional question after using the product today:

Is there a way to specify a temp directory. In my case the source files are on a NAS device. I noticed that SVCD2DVD created a temp file for each asset (i.e. filename_S2D.mpg) in the same directory as the source files. If I could put the temp files on a local disk it would likely improve performance. Thanks for the great program.

  6. Unfortunately at this time there is no way to specify a temp file. I would move the source files to the local disk if that is an option.
