    I just use TMPEC. You have to change the extension to .asf from .wmv then just put it in to TMPEC using the project wizard and press ok on ever dialog box. That has worked for me for the last 4 years Only problems I have ever had have been some long encoding times on certain files but I attribute that to the old 566mhz celeron computer I was using at the time.

    WMV into WME, Export to DV-AVI, convert to MPEG. Keeps the quality very high.
