I have installed bbMPEG (1.24) as a Premiere (6.01) plug-in.
When I try to export the timeline to SVCD, MPEG2, PAL setting the built in PAL option it all hums along nicely until the very end and then craps out without leaving a finished file. The log disappears from the screen instantly and so it's impossible to say why this happens.
The only other changes I make are within Premiere to set the 480 x 560 resolution and the audio to 44.1KHz
OS is W2K Pro; CPU Athlon Thunderball 1GHz
So,
1. Anyone know why or what to do about it?
2. Is the quality with this encoder any good (in other words, is it worth even persevering with it)?
Thanks in advance
-Pete
