    Sometimes when I convert an avi to mpeg using TMPGenc, I get a purlple haze(or something like that) over a couple of frames. Does anybody know what is causes this? And if so, how can I fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    It is your divix codec that you are using. if you installed from a all-in-one pack then uninstall it and do it one at a time.

    yep ..u probably installed the angel potion codec or some other sorry ass codec package.......just uninstall that crap and install the divx codec form divx.com and the smr codec(if u want to) from this site in the tools section
