Is this OK to do? I have a sat. box and I've recorded some TV shows I'd like to record on a DVD disk via my DVD recorder. I can't seem to find out how to do this. Hooked up my DVD recorder to my Receiver but the TV screen comes up all green. I have my coax from wall to receiver and from the receiver going to various components--DVD/VCR combo, CD, TV. I'd like to add my DVD recorder to my receiver and copy some of the shows from the Sat. playlist.![]()

I would just take out the DVD/VCR and plug the DVDR into where it is plugged into. That's atleast what I did.. just ran the AV stuff into the DVR and the satelitte w/ the RF going to the TV.
I know that dosent help.. I hated hooking mine up.. I had to read the manual about 10 times.
