    Hello to all of you

After 1 week of continuous searching I have decided to post my problem here. What I have is two avi files from a football game that I am trying to append in VirtualDub/VirtualDubMod

I have managed to do this before several times until now.

The error I keep getting is:
Cannot append. The video streams have different data formats. I will also post a JPEG with the file information of each file. I believe it has something to do with the audio codec...but I couldn't find any workaround.

Thank you all for reading my message or for eventually trying to help me.

    Mihnea

Try AVIDemux. Open the first file. If the audio is VBR MP3, AVIDemux will ask if you want to create a timemap. Say Yes, then click on File->Append and select the second file. Again, create a timemap if asked. Make sure both video and audio are set to copy mode, and save your new, combined avi file.
