  1. last week i bought a hp dvd writer and for the last week i have been trying to put vcds onto a dvd.

i have all 10 episodes of band of brothers and i want to put them onto 2 dvds.

mydvd came bundled with my writer but i cant import more than 1 hour or else it goes over the limt.

ive tried the vcd to dvd thing on this site but after i encode the audio to 48 and and load the m1v and mpa files it starts out fine but after 10 min or so the audio gets out of sync..

can anyone tell me the best prog to do what i want? to put 4 or 5 hours of vid onto a dvd..and dont say tmpge cause i tried that. it took me 42hours to convert 3 hours of mpg to dvd and when it got to 90% it had an error and stopped so i dont feel like waiting 3days to try again

Don't re-encode, use spruceup as indicated on that guide, that way you don't need to re-encode.

  3. the guide says you have to re encode the audio from 44 to 48 or else it wont work
everytime i do this and add the m1v and mpa files to spruce up and simulate the first 10 min will be perfect but after that the sound starts coming out of sync..
