    Hi all,

I have searched the fourms, but could not find an answer.

I'm wondering if this player/recorder can play the DivX format? According to the details on your site for the RD-XS24, it says it works.

I've downloaded and brunt the divXtest CD, but all I see in the player is pictures. Is there a hack, or is it just not gonna happen? (I cannot tell if the player supports MPEG4)

If not, do I need to convert divX files to MPEG2 to play on the recorder? (VCD is that right??? newbie to video conversion unless its for my Nintendo DS)

    Any ideas?

I also have an old Cinetec DVD 2100 player. Works great for backed up DVDs, better than the Toshiba. Is there a divX hack for this machine?

Thanks in advance for you help.

    Tony

Looks like an error in the database. According to the user manual and the reviews of this unit here on the site, it does not support divx.

There are no Divx "hacks". The player either supports divx or it doesn't.
