I've got some old video that suffers from overmodulation artifacting. Here is a link showcasing what this looks like:

A while ago, I tried eliminating this problem with a VDub filter that was meant to address broadcast ghosting. But as one might expect, the repeating nature of overmodulation, combined with the generally destructive process of cancelling out ghosts, made for some poor results.
Basically I'm hoping there's a filter out there, ideally for VDub, which is meant to address this particular video artifact. Thanks as always for all the great help.
