    Hi there
Today has been a huge learning curve and I'm still going!

OK. I have 2 x avi files which after I joined using VirtualDub. Used Convertx to DVD to a finished DVD and realised after playing it that it was missing subtitles. Duh!
So, I downloaded the subtitles which were seperate for avi1 and avi2 and used Jubler to join them.

Then added them to the video using VirtualDubMod and Vobsub and then ConvertX to DVD to a finsished DVD. Fantastic except about 2/3 into the video the subtitles are about 3-4 seconds out of sync.
Downloaded SubSync and followed the guide and fixed the sync issue. Previewed the video and all is good. Placed the subtitle file with exactly the same name as the avi file (except it has an .srt ext) in the same directory, opened Convertx, opened the avi and it automatically picked up the subtitle stream.

Now as i'm writing this, it's doing it's thing but I've noticed that there no subtitles showing up in the Video Preview screen on the right. Does that mean my process will fail?
How do I rectify this problem? I hope there is an easy way Thanks!

    Cheers

    Hi there

Even though the subtitles don't appear in the Video Preview in ConvertX they do appear on the screen when the DVD is played in a standalone player which is a relief, but unfortunately the subtitles are still out of sync

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers
