  1. wierd... the process went fine, but the end result has no sound, any ideas why? if that's not usable, is there any other simple software that can cut these stuff?

    VideoRedo and MPEG-VCR are the two best MPEG editing programs out there. They fully support AC-3 audio. The old TMPGEnc Plus 2.5x does not support AC-3 audio which is probably what the problem was (I'm guessing) with using it.
