I have a vcd movie in an image file, can I extract the video so I can copy to dvd?

VCD's make a really annoying clicking in my standalone.

Interesting problem.... hardly news worthy though

If it's an ISO or other image file, you can extract it directly from the VCD itself also, mount it in a virtual drive, extract the mpg file with something like VCDGEAR, demux the audio & video, convert the audio from 44100 Hz to 48000 Hz then load into an authoring program, reauthor then burn to dvd, as long as it is truely a vcd and the video is in the correct resolution.

Or you could load the extracted mpg directly into something like TDA which will convert the audio itself during authoring.

Moderators - can this be moved to the VCD/SVCD forum? This is a very bad place for this thread.

Get a copy of Daemon Tools and install it. This will enable you to load the ISO image as if it was burned to a CD and then you can use something like VCDGear to extract the MPG file (use the DAT to MPG function) and follow Noahtuck's advice.
