  1. Hello all,

    I have a wedding that I need to edit, basically it is incredibly dark. What software would I need to make it brighter.

    I realise that this is a very general question.

    what video format? vhs, dvd, dv-avi, vcd, svcd...

    You can change brightness in most advanced editing tools.

    Try virtualdubmpeg2 with the colormill plugin, then frameserve out to your mpeg-2 encoder. Note : DV shot in low light is very noisy. Increasing brightness will increase the appearance of the noise.
