  1. This maybe an easy one! I am using a ATI TV Wonder Elite card and Beyond TV 4.62. In the past I could watch my recorded TV shows via Windows media player and be able to fast forward or skip ahead by moving the progress slider. For some reason I cannot do this with any new shows that were recorded? I know that if it was a streaming file I would run into this issue but its not. Any thoughts?? Thanks!!!!!

  2. Please describe in detail any and all changes made to the PC, hardware AND software, which ocurred in between "in the past", when it did work, and "new", when it does NOT. Include ANYTHING which has been changed, including location or video input type.

This does not happen by magic. Something has changed. Your input is necessary to Isolate and Identify the problem.

  3. I haven't changed anything on my PC directly. There was an update from Snapstream (Beyond TV) , here is a list of what was included in their update:

    Bug Fixes

    - Recordings failing due to, "Could not attach to graph" error are no longer failing.
    - Setup wizard now detects sound devices for software encode TV tuner cards.
    - TV format settings now correctly being saved as NTSC or PAL in the Web Admin.
    - AVerMedia M780 PCI express TV tuner now capable of using both of its onboard tuners simultaneously.
    - Serial tuning satellite and set-top-boxes on COM ports higher than 9 can now be done.
    - Meta-data no longer lost when copying video files.
    - Manual recordings no longer being ended prematurely when the Beyond TV recording scheduler is rebuilt.
    - Manual recordings made within the Beyond TV GUI are now being scheduled on the correct channel in cases where duplicate channels exist in a person's lineup.

    Improvements

    - Library monitoring and performance improved.
    - HDHomeRun (ATSC and QAM support) now supported.
    - Serial tuning for DirecTV D11 Model 500 now supported.

I don't see anything that should have directly caused this change from the above update? Even so you would think it should be a setting? Thanks!

  4. The update is almost certainly the cause, then. Double check all capture settings to make sure that no defaults have changed. Check any new codecs installed. Also, contact snapstream tech support and report the problem, if all settings and codecs are unchanged, then it is some other internal bug in the software.

  5. Yeah, I guess I'll email Snapstream as I cannot see any changes in actual settings. Thanks for the help!
