  1. I got a movie in avi format and wanted to convert to a dvd. I used freeware DVD Flick to convert the file. However, the end of the movie was cut off. As an experiment, I then tried Cinema Craft Encoder and it also cut off the end of the movie, however I got an error message about not being able to write to the hard-drive. That is when I realized that all my files were cut off at exactly 4GB because I was using an old computer with the FAT32 file system. After a quick Google search, I found a simple way to convert one of the drive sectors to NTFS, which does not have the 4GB file limitation. After doing this, I was successful to make my dvd. The DVD played perfectly in a DVD player. I can definately recommend DVD Flick because it is free and easy to use, there are several
fairly easy guides on how to use this software, and the resulting DVD plays perfectly in a DVD player. I chose DVD Flick after reading about other conversion softwares that all seemed to have poor user reviews.

I think it's one of those "Public Service Announcements"
    If in doubt, Google it.
