So the version i'm using is amazing, I think it's great and does an exellent job all within 3 hours, usually just over 2.

TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 with DivX Authoring 3.0.5.149

The only slight hitch I would like to get rid of from it is when the dvd is burnt and played on a dvd player, you can still see the divx watermark at the start of the movie, I thought it was only the fact that divx encoded the file that it shows that watermark on the pc.

But it's actually burning the watermark on the file once i've burned the dvd, so when you play it you see this popup for around 5-10 seconds at the start:

In short my question is, does anybody know how I might get rid of this?

I could encode it to mpeg2 but that would take longer, then encoding to dvd and burning the dvdr after is pointless.

If anyone can help I would much appreciate it!

I know you can turn it off for playback on your PC using the Divx Decoder Configuration application from the start menu. It is a check box on the Toolbar tab.

Theoretically this should not effect encoding, but it may depend on exactly how TDA handles the decoding of the file coming in.

  3. anonymous99: Have you purchased the program yet. You will have the watermark on every DVD on the menu until you have purchased the full version of the program. It is an excellent program.

The problem is not that of a program being complete or a demo, I believe it would be a different logo, possibly tmpgenc logo and not the divx one as I believe this problem is to do with the divx codec (hence the divx logo).

I know its a good piece of software, I think its awesome!

I accomplished my goal now, just turn the logo off in the config.exe file.
