  1. I just got a new hard drive and installed the latest version of QT 7, and I can't play any HD QT videos (movie trailers). The color for every one of them is all white and very light colors.

    Any ideas?

  3. I'm talking about the HD movie trailers on apple.com/trailers/. How do I open them in that program when I click on the link?

Oh yes, forgot about the traditional way

If you use Quicktime Alternative , you'll be presented with a link to download the file(s). It also comes with an early version of CoreAVC h264 viewer, which will give you much better performance when you're playing back the 1080p res files.

  5. Why am I not able to view them with QT? I was before with no problem. Am I missing a codec or something?

quicktime is a POS on a PC is basically the reason -- though it could be your vid card settings

  7. It might be the fact that I have not installed the video drivers for my card. I just used the native drivers in XP. I'll give that a try. Thanks.
