    Hi guys,

Ok i have a problem and i need some help?

I finished my 2 dicss of movies. Burnt one disc all good and made several copies. Sent the other disc out and my mate noticed one of the chapters the Audio is out of sinc with the Video!

ANyway i can alter this without having to build the whole project again as i've deleted most the files of my computer??

ps..I've already got the Video TS file.

One way I can think of is using DVD Lab Pro and adding +-delay to the audio.

    1) use pgcdemux to extract everything by the cell(chapter)

    2) fix audio sync however you want to (delay, audio editor, etc)

    3) use muxman to mux everything back together but use the new syncd audio instead

    4) use vobblanker to replace the old cell(chapter) with the new cell.

This isn't the answer you want to hear. It happened to me with Brothers Grimm. The rip played fine on an older machine but was out-of-synch on a modern player, mainly the first few chapters. I think it was due to residual copy protection. The only way to be certain is to re-rip using the latest decryption programs.

If you follow the above steps using the new audio, you won't have to re-compile again....which you would have to do if you use dvdlab pro.

Pgcdemux is just to extract the streams - audio, video, etc. If it's a simple delay, then when you use muxman you can adjust the delay there to fix the sync problem. If it's more complicated than that, you can use an audio editor to fix it, and then convert back to dvd compliant audio, and remux the new syncd audio back with the original video...using muxman. Then just follow the steps from there.

It may sound complex but really isn't. Your goal was not to mess with anything else within the dvd, keeping the structure intact. You just wanted to fix the audio so that's in sync. And without doing the whole thing over again, this is the way to do it.
