Ok, so I'm trying to research all this stuff about how to Rip DVD onto my computer.
I use DVD Decreyptor and rip the VOB / MPEG-2 (aka M2V) files on my hard drive.
Then I take those files and use VOB2MPG2 to convert them into a MPG file. Now, I can't upload it into windows movie maker...
I get this message:

Do a search for "windows movie maker mpeg2" and you'll find heaps of hits but no solutions. I have never been able to import MPEG-2 into WMM yet others have never had any issues so go figure ...
I convert to DV-AVI in virtualdub-mpeg2 then import that into WMM.If in doubt, Google it.
