When I access websites with video clips on them the videos often don't show. On another computer I have those same videos work just fine. One example is at this site:

Can anyone tell me what I don't have installed on my computer that prevents me seeing these video clips? I have no idea what format the video clips are or how to tell.
Thank you,
.....Gord

Outside a dog a book is man's best friend. Inside a dog it's too dark to read.

I went to your linked page, right clicked on the video, then selected 'Properties'. It said it used a 'Windows Media Video V7' codec. It should play in Windows Media Player or GOM Player. You might need to update your version of Windows Media Player.
I was also able to download it by putting the URL from the properties page: http://www.marleyturned.com/Videos/LagunaBeachVase1-07.WMV into the IE address line and clicking the 'Go' button there and download it to my computer. -
Thanks redwudz
That was the problem. The funny thing is that it would play in WMP if I downloaded the file but would not play if accessed on the website. Much appreciated.
