Have some problems with Frameserver. When I start up AuxSetup, using the guide that is posted on this site, I don't see the ProxyOn files, I know they are in the same folder because I can see them if I run a dir against the folder. Everytime I try to run Frameserver an dsame I don't see any file that was created, I know that "TMPGEnc" is looking for the pointer file, but it was not created, a little help please. Alos have question on Drapped Frames in VirtualDub Capture, using all the guides listed, and settigngs, the pcture is great whne played back on the PC, did a small test of 40 sec in VCd, again picture look very good, will drapped frames cause a problem later in the film. Many thanks ...

VirtualDub 1.4.8 ? I didn't find the proxyon files either. Download 1.4.7 and use the ones in there. Fix the proxyon problem first. Then save the pointer file with a .AVI extension. TMPG should see the pointer file then. I get some dropped frames but I haven't noticed any adverse effect....yet.

Yes it was the 1.4.8 version, will try the older version, many thanks, I do get some drapped also, like you don't see much difference in the overall film.
