ugly playing wmv9

I use the latest media player classic but when i play wmv9 movies (<9 seems fine), the color rotates between normal and pink-ish.

also when i fast forward, it becomes all pixelated and green, then snaps back to normal

I've reinstall k'lite codec pack to no avail.

However, the movies play fine in Windows Media Player

What's the deal here?

You were punked. Every time you use that POS codec pack, you're asking for it. It isn't your fault. "Fool me once and all...."

Most likely just a bad/corrupt/not fully compliant codec. It wasn't that long ago that MPC wouldn't play any WMV9 files.

As a side note, I only use WMP for wmv files. Everything else uses MPC.
