I'm looking for the best software to use. Here is my pretty much only purpose.
I have a DVI Tape Camcorder that we record home movies on. We have a newborn so it's being used much more often now.
I want to be able to create some quick DVD's with some decent special effects as far as menus etc goes.
A friend showed me IDVD one time on a mac and I liked how you could pull up a template and drag a movie into a frame and there it was.
I'm not looking for the most professional in the world but something that looks pretty good that allows me to add customer background music to menu's with some good templates.
Since I have quite a few and I"m sure that's not going to change I don't want to spend days working on one tape so I wanted something that had a few templates that could be semi tweaked to look good like IDVD seemed to be.
My current PC specs are:
Windows Vista Ultimate
Pentium D 3.2 Ghz
Nvidia Geoforce 6600 Video Card
2GB RAM
500 GB HDD
So you see the software will also have to be compatible with Vista which might hurt I know.
