  1. Ok I read somewhere in order for me to convert a svcd to xvcd is to do the following:

    1 goto file/MPEG tools
    2 select 'simple multiplex'
    3 select type 'MPEG-1 Video-CD'
4 video input 'YOUR MPEG FILE'
5 output 'DESTINATION FOR YOUR FINISHED FILE'
    6 run

HOWEVER, on the fourth step when I select my mpg I get a message saying "Illegal Mpeg Video Stream" What should I do?!
It doesn't allow me to select it...
    thanx

    tacotime,
    1 goto file/MPEG tools
2 select simple demultiplex (.mpg to .m2v+ .mp2)
    3 select 'multiplex'
    4 add .m2v and .mp2
    5 select type 'MPEG-1 Video-CD[non-standard]'
6 output 'DESTINATION FOR YOUR FINISHED FILE'
    7 run

You will end with a XVCD, well a big X. There are not many players, that can play it.
You will loose some options. No multiple audio tracks / selectable subs.
And the MPEG must be progressiv. SVCD may contain interlaced video.

  4. Thanx guys

Truman in simple demultiplex after I hit run I get a "Illegal mpeg video stream error" after I hit run... do the output files have to be a specific name?
    and what's (.mpg to .m2v+ .mp2)?!

thanx guys... I know a big pain in the ass, but your help is appreciated

  5. Hmmm maybe there's something wrong with the file... dav1dh's method doesn't work either (I get the Illegal MPEG Video Stream Error message again)...

I downloaded the mpg file and not the bin/cue file so maybe that's the problem?!
