hello, and nice to meeting you all. well... i came here hoping that someone could give me a hand, please? i am a little lost on all this hdmi, dvi, ypbpr stuff... i did some reading but i am still not sure if a cable or adapter from an hdmi (my ps3) to a ypbpr (my projector) exist?

i know hdmi is a digital type of signal and ypbpr is an analog... well... at least that is what i got from my readings...

    thank you.

There are a few options, none from a US company. Due to copy concerns it is illegal to manufacture a stand alone HDMI HDCP compliant converter. There are a few available from overseas sources: Taiwan (see Moome's projector workshop site: 221.169.10.62), England (the VISIONFC4 sold by Lektropacks Ltd) and Korea (the Moonjong converter). I couldn't get the Moome converter to work with my BluRay or HDDVD players, the VISIONFC4 does. You can buy the VISIONFC4 on EBAY for $187.50 plus shipping.
    Good Luck!
