Just got a Pacific Digital external burner and connected it. Downloaded the driver files from the website but it still won't work. The message says it's either not present, not working properly or all the drivers haven't been installed?
Does anyone know where any more possible drivers are located?
Thanks.

Usually external USB burners require Win98SE or later.
Is your O/S late enough.
Do you have USB ports with drivers? Some older machines have non-standard USB drivers.
An older machine will probably have USB 1.1 ports which will run like crap, if they run at all with your burner.
Consider returning your burner and saving the money toward a new machine.
