    i don't undertand how to put music into an avi or dvd. i have the vid,but it has sound how to i replace the sound so instead a song plays in the background. IS there any specific program for this . i have convertXtoDVd will that do it? if not what program will. I need to make simple menu's convert to DVD and simple authoring and editing. Help

    It depends on the format of the video. If it's a AVI type, you can add the audio in with VirtualDub or VD Mod. If it's a MPEG type, TMPGEnc can mux the audio (combine it with the video) for you. Other programs should be able to do the same. ConvertX needs the audio and video muxed together before it can encode.

    If you have the video file as a AVI type, I would use VD Mod and 'Add' the new audio stream, then delete the old one and save it. Take that file and drop it into Convertx and it should convert them both to a DVD file.

    yeah thnnx i did some searching and found out windows movie maker can do it. simple thnnx though.
