I sucessfully set up Super to make mpeg vcd videos. But now i have some two hour flv videos that i want to put on vcd(s). This will take 2 vcds to fit the whole thing on, if im correct. (60min per cd).

How can i make it so super will, while converting, make multiple files once the file size gets above 700mb.

Or should i look for a mpeg splitter. Its just that in this world of $ software, or spywared software, i hate downloading.
Software like super, is very rare to see.

SUPER doesn't automatically split videos. If your running time in 74 - 80 minutes or less, just use the VCD settings and it will fit. If it is longer then you will have to trim it. I believe you can do this with mpeg tools in Tmpgenc Plus. Personally, I would also use this top do your VCD encoding - it produces better output than SUPER, although better, when referring to VCD quality, is a relative term. Tmpgenc Plus comes with 14 days of mpeg-2 encoding as a demo, but mpeg-1 encoding is indefinite.

Cutting mpg is always tricky, as it (for me) leads to sync issues more often than not. If at all avoidable, avoid!

super has a timer option, under options other

you can set the total encode time and you can set the number of seconds to skip

both settings are ins seconds, so you have to calculate that and put in the numbers

you will have to run the same file 2 times using different settings

If you have a 2 hr 120 min video to split in half

first run do not use skip and set encode for 3600 seconds only

this will process the first 60 min

on the second run check the skip box and but in 3600 seconds

and uncheck the encode only timer,

super will skip the first 60 minutes and process the rest of the file

you will get a pop window asking approval on the timers

and you will get the pop window on the second pass about the file already existing and whether to keep or rename

I would rename the first output file before i run the second half
