    I don't really want to make a topic but I don't even know how to start looking for such a program on this site. Whenever I go to google it brings up programs that require purchase.

    I just need a simple program, that is free, to split .AVIs? Could someone please recommend one?

    [File | Save Segmented AVI] set your size limit in either max MB or max # of frames.
