Is there something like a TEST-DVD for format testing?

I surfed in here some months ago and I think I saw some people posting test dvd's for download.

I mean dvds with different kinds of formats to see wheter a player plays everything. I would be very thankful if someone could post such a dvd so that I can try different formats on the players and find the player which suits me best.
