So I have a panasonic dvd recorder thar burns & plays DVD-Ram. And my computer reads & burns DVD-Ram. But if I burn a DVD-Ram on my computer it won't play in my panasonic. Anyone know what the deal is with that? Thanks

Well actuall I am backing up comercial releases. When I get bogged down with netflix & want to get more from them I copy the movie on a rewritable to watch it later & send back the movie. Since I have DVD-Ram capability I thought it would be nice to use that if I can get it to work.
So, can I be moved back since I am talking about backing up movies? Thanks

Reread our rules about Fair use / Backup. Backuping rentals = NO.
