Hi,
I am having problems with some wmv video files. I have downloaded them, but they are protected and will not play. I keep getting the message 'we're sorry, the clip you are trying to play is not currently available in your area'.
Is there any way around this ?

Find a copy of FairUse4WM and try it. However, this program requires you to have a legal key for the file before it strips the DRM out, so it may not help you. There is info about this program in the Decryption forum at http://www.doom9.net.
You could also search the internet or P2P networks for copies of the video without DRM. -
If they are checking your IP, then you might try making it look like you are coming from whatever country they are marketing to. You'll have to be online to watch the videos, because the WMP will call home to get a decrypt key.
You need an https (secure, not http) proxy that is in the region or country that the video permits.
