Hi all:
I use a lot winavi for my video convertions.
I have 1 little problem.
When I want to convert several files into one DVD I need to place them on the same folder, as I didnt find any option on winavi to add files for conversation.!!
Do you guys know of another way to do that on winavi ??
hilario.

WinAVI is a very poor choice for anything to do with video.
ConvertxtoDVD does multiple files very easily, and is much more reliable than WinAVI.
If you really want it done right, learn how to encode correctly with a real encoder and you can do anything.Read my blog here.

Yes I know.
I have both , but winavi is much faster.
For my personal use I dont need them , as I keep all my movies in DIVX.
But when a friend or someone of my family asks for a special movie I have to convert to DVD.
Thats the only reason why I prefer Winavi.
But let me tell you that so far I am satisfied with winavi.
Of course some movies can only be converted after using virtualdub.

hi
I've been reading a lot about winavi convertions from avi to DVD . .
so far it's been working fine with me . . . but i this one problem,
i am converting many episodes (anime) about 24mins each it automatically generates all these VOBs and IFOs in a folder
. . . question .
. . how can i create dvd menus for these . . .
it just play automatically when i load it to my JVC dvd player . . .
i want to create a selection title ..
is winavi capable of doing this . .
is there any other software that can serve the same purpose and at the same time compress the avis so i can place more episodes on my 4.7gb disc
thanks in advance -
Convertxtodvd! I just finished a dvd with 15 20 minute chapters of a serial. When you select Menu you can then select any chapter you want. When one chapter finishes it goes back to the menu. Very slick. And the quality is as good as the original avi's.
