    Ive connected my dvd recorder with my PC with an i394 connection. Im not sure how i can get to the hard drive of my DVD recorder so i can copy my personal movies over to my PC. Anyone know how?

    You can't get access to the HDD using the firewire connection, it 's only used to record from dv camcorders.

    Ohhhhhhhh is there no other way to connect to the hard drive? other than taking the harddrive out and connecting it to my PC as a slave?
