    I need to downsample mpeg2 2450/224Kbps video/audio - help? My SVCD won't play in my DVD player (it's very choppy, and other SVCD's of lower bitrate have worked in the past. I can't find any tools to downsample the mpeg1 layer2 audio - please advise.

    I take it that by downsampling, you mean a lower bitrate. All you can do is reencode it. Split with dvd2avi and do the process over at a lower bit rate. It sucks, but thats all you can do.
