Just saw Napoleon Dynamite

I just saw this movie, and all I can say is WOW! It has to be one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. My face hurt I was laughing so hard. I honestly believe they profiled a few people from my school for the characters in the movie

Not seen it yet but I've heard it described as an "American Little Britain" so it looks good. I wanna see that and Team America ASAP.

Pretty mixed reviews from people here.

I thought it was hilarious. The soundtrack was perfect for the film. My favorite parts were all the anachronisms of Preston, Idaho

Absolutely hilarious. Just watching him run cracked me up. Napoleon and Pedro were so realistic -- even I wanted to kick their asses!! And Uncle Rico was too friggin funny as well !!!

Everyone that I ask at work about that movie either says they love it, or absolutely hate it. Personally, I was dying laughing. It has a weak plot, but napoleon's one liners kill me.

I can feel you pain. Me and like 1 other person I know are the only people in real life I've met that thought Kung Pow was great. So I've def. had an unpopular opinion before.

It's hard to compate it because the humor is so different. It's not a joking humor at all. It's more of a Hey I remember that type of humor. Plus the absolute bizarness of the movie adds to it.

IMO Napoleon Dynamite is much better than Austin Powers 2. It's so refreshingly different.

Now that I think about it the movie kinda reminds me of Valley Girl. The movie has an 80s feel to it, but has hardly any plot, kinda like Bringing Out The Dead. It's also got a Revenge of the Nerds feel mixed with Dumb and Dumber and Sixteen Candles. The Uncle reminded me of Varsity Blues mixed with Tape Heads all mixed with the TV show Roseanne.
