Hello everybody,
I'm kindly asking you for help by the following problem: I have captured a whole VHS cassette - using an ADS Tech device with the delivered software - on my hard disk. The capture was made directly in mpg format, resulting in a 14,4Gb movie (it's a whole wedding ceremony on it). I can play the mpg file without any problem directly from the hard disk, without sync problems, but as soon as I use an authoring software (for ex. TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6) to prepare it for burning on a dvd, after about 20 min. I observe that the sound comes a few seconds later than the image and it will be worse as I'm playing further!!! I have tried also other authoring softwares, with the same bad results!
I have to say that the VHS-movie is made from many single sequences (it is of course not a continously movie) - could this be a reason why the syncronisation will be lost?
Please help me with an advice, I'm really out of ideas...
Thank you very much in advance.
