    the newer versions of smartripper (2.40 2.41) are stopping at 85% and asking if i want to quit ripping. i clik yes and it wont finish the process. the old versions work but they give me dodgy blocks.please help. cheers

    jon9344, old versions giving you blocks cuz they use wrong key to decrypt the dvd.

    as for the new version, make sure the dvd is completely clean. that happens to me sometimes (especially with rented DVDs). the disc bottoms have scratches or dust that makes it harder to rip.
