Firmware upgrade DivX for samsung DVD-V5600, Where?

Greetings to the forum, I bought myself recently a Combo dvd-v5600 Samsung that reads DivX , I need to know if somebody knows where can find an upgrade of the firmware to be able to reproduce DivX 6, because nothing else reproduces until the version 5. in the official place of Samsung they don't offer this service... in case it exists, I need to know as making it
Any big serious help.

Divx 5 & 6 are very similar. If you have Divx 6 files that don't play on your player, you will most likely need to re-encode them to make them compatible. You can check the files (the ones that work and the ones that don't) using a program like gspot. You should then be able to see what the differences are between the files. Chances are, the files were encoded using an option that you player doesn't support...a firmware update won't fix it.
