    i have a file in vob format. It has lpcm audio and mpgv video codec. i need to convert this to wmv and wma using Windows media wncoder 9. I have tried to encode, but after completion of encoding, only video is coming. no Audio. Is there plug-in to be installed for this.

    Try convert the audio to a wav with for example goldwave, open the vob and save as wav. Then use the wav as audio source in WME.
