brand new to the site, got a question...

I have the YHT-400 system in my posession, however, recently when i turn it on the load screen comes up (as it should) for a few seconds then it splits in two, goes b&w and totally cuts out to the tv's blue screen. Now, i can put a dvd in and it'll play it fine... but audio only.

I'm all for listening to dvd's (when i'm going to sleep) but i'm wondering what the problem is and how can i fix it or if it's even fixable.

Sounds like you may have progressive scan set to on and your TV might not support this. Check your DVD user guide on how to disable progessive scan.

I Got the same problem then SirArchur.

I already try that but i can't see set-up page screen look like old pay-per-view channel without decoder.

I try to have help from Yahho or diamond electronic but they don't have consumer-services and if you go to there web site the only service center are in Mexico. And all there e-mail adress came back faulty.

Does somebody know how to reset the system to factory setting
