    I guess he meant Star Trek. On the special edition DVD for one of the Star Trek movies (I think its the first one) they talk about how klingon is an official standardized language. They hired a linguist to literally create an entire language even though some words and phrases would never be used on the show/films. I've heard of colleges (very liberal ones) actually teaching klingon courses.
