I've just started useing Mencoder to convert my mkv/ogm files to avi and i've had no problems when i testing a small mkv file (237,904 KB) but when i tried to convert a larger mkv file (717,339 KB) it skips frames and then stops and gives me this message...

Too many audio packets in the buffer: (4101 in 880999 bytes).
Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.

Does anybody know how to fix this or get around it?
