I capture episodes of a tv show and burn about 10 on one DVD. The bitrate usually ends up being around 2500 kbps. They are burnt with Nero and on some scenes get really jerky. Sound and video will pause, play, pause, over and over. It usually happens on scenes with a lot of high pitch noise (Lois' voice in family guy), a lot of movement (like looking out the window of a moving vehicle), or a lot of one color (like pure black at the beginning of credits). It only happens on my standalone, playback is perfect on the computer. Well the other day I went through the same steps of authoring but this time I burnt with ImgBurn and I haven't seen a single section of jerkiness yet. Has anyone else noticed jerky burns from Nero? I'm thinking about just getting rid of Nero and sticking with ImgBurn.
