    first i would like to start off my saying im using windows vista, i use fitcd to fix my avi files so when i make my dvds i do not get cut off subtitles at the bottom after i save the script and then try to add the file into THPGenc 4.0 i get an error cannot load filename.avi.avs. But it will load the filename.avi no problem is this another vista problem.

    Can you play the .avs with media player?
    Have you installed avisynth?

    avisynth was installed before the windows xp upgrade to vista i reinstalled avisynth and it fixed the problem.
