I have installed the lasted version of Nero, which works fine. The problem I have is that now all the DVD-R NTSC Images I dl and burn no longer will play in my dvd player. I never had this problem in XP. Does this have anything to do with the DRM incorporated into Vista. Please help, as this is a major problem. Thanks!!!!

Possibly, but you might try VLC media player and see if it works as you may also just have a codec problem. VLC usies it's own codecs, so it doesn't rely on installed codecs.

You probably don't have an mpeg2 codec installed. Install either VLC, MediaPlayer Classic, or Mplayer for Windows and try again.

Does anyone have any ideas. The only variable that has changed since my previous setup is the Vista OS. Would there be any other image buring programs that might work or settings under Vista or Nero that need to be configured. Thanks so much in advance for any suggestions.

Could be a problem. A Vista update was issued this week for PowerProducer, and there are reports of problems with other applications.
Lenovo which makes my laptop has a frightening list of applications which had to be uninstalled prior to loading vista and then reinstalled - you may have missed a step in your upgrade. It also has a similarly frightening list of applications which do not have to be uninstalled but may not work properly. -
