    I have an xvid I want to caputer a portion of audio from. I just need like 5 minutes of audio
    any ideas? I have used virtual dub to cut a portion of audio/video for one clip, i need another of just aduio.

    any ideas?

    Repeat the same trick in vdub , but use "save as wav"

    What do you know ... it worked with 6 channel ac3 ... what the ??? ... just had to change the wav extension to ac3 after ...

    Bjs, is the bottom portion of your post a signature? Because I dont understand it. lol

    Also if i do so in a wav Can I make the wave a chapter on an encoded dvd-r

    No ... not sig .

    I always run test projects to confirm what I am about to shoot off at the hip to someone ... alway's like to be as correct as possible .

    I ran a test on an avi (xvid with 6 channel ac3) ... and it stoned me that it actually saved the ac3 portion out ... always discovering new things .

    Maybe my sig should be ...

    If it's there , I'll hit it ... if it dose something bad ... I dont do it again in a hurry ... the only way to learn ... even if one get's burnt every now and then .
